Construction Manager at Risk, or CMAR, is a delivery method where the construction team joins the owner and designer while the design is still developing. The team prices the work, raises conflicts early, and commits to a guaranteed maximum price.

What we bring to a CMAR team

Trade coordination. Trade contractors, schedule, and closeout coordinated under one team, so owners work with a single accountable group.
Field leadership. Dedicated superintendents and project managers on your job, covering daily supervision, coordination, closeout, and punch.
Work in operating facilities. We have worked at night inside an operating airport terminal, and in public buildings that owners need delivered on schedule.
Closeout through acceptance. Punch list coordination and closeout carried through to final acceptance by the same team that ran the work.

Federal Inspection Services & Concourse D Renovation (Completed, CMAR). Delivery team: Messer/All-Pro (CMAR). Night time renovation of Concourse D and the lower level Federal Inspection Services at Charlotte Douglas International Airport: gate realignment of four passenger boarding bridges, extensive baggage handling work, upgrades to the main HVAC system, and installation of a second primary electrical service.
Beverly Woods Elementary School (In Progress, CMAR). Delivery team: Edifice/All-Pro (CMAR). New 45 classroom replacement school for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, delivered under the Edifice CMAR program.
Umbrella Center (In Progress, CMAR). Delivery team: Edifice/All-Pro (CMAR). Renovation of the Albemarle Center into Mecklenburg County's family justice center, delivered under the Edifice CMAR program.
Charlotte Douglas International Airport (2019, CMAR). Delivery team: Turner Construction / Rodgers Builders / All-Pro (CMAR). Terminal expansion support and interior trades across multiple phases.
